patience...

Last week, I put a book on hold at the library. Whomever had it out, checked it out again! So, instead of waiting a week, now it is two. I did what any red-blooded American would do; I ordered it on Amazon. What gets me is that it said "can be shipped by July 7th." "WOO, HOO!" I said. I was sorely mistaken, it won't arrive until the 12th. It was shipped on the 5th; I guess they held up their end of the bargain. So much for my patience, huh?
